Fenly Guitar Biography

Handcrafted in 2026 by Wayne Fenly in Kempsey, New South Wales, this custom Fenly medium-dreadnought acoustic guitar was donated by OzWit to support the Royal Flying Doctor Service at the 2026 Mundi Mundi Bash.

Built from a Lutz spruce top with Honduran mahogany back and sides, it pairs a Sipon mahogany neck and Machiche fretboard with elegant curly maple detailing and a traditional shellac finish. With its mortise neck joint, maple bridge and Gotoh locking tuners, this one-of-a-kind instrument combines fine Australian lutherie with a meaningful fundraising story.
